Description
This product has a non-intense, perfumed smell.
Our chipping medium works even with lacquers and, like many of the other products, is fragranced. The bottle is fitted with an atomizer, so you can use the product straight from the bottle if you don’t want to get your airbrush dirty. However, we recommend using it for more precise application. Work at a pressure of about 1.5 bar. Remember that the product is not suitable for brush painters because you will activate it simultaneously with brush strokes.
Instructions for use:
Step 1. Paint the model with the color you want for scratches; let it dry completely. We can recommend the “Weathering Paint: Chipping” paint.
Step 2. Spray the model with “Easy Chipping Medium” using an atomizer misting from about 30-40 cm. If airbrushing, close the distance to about 15 cm. The thicker you apply, the more extensive the abrasions will be. Spray reasonably so that the model is not too flooded with the medium. Leave to dry for about 30 minutes. Do not use a hairdryer. It is better to apply 1 thick layer than many thin ones.
Step 3: Paint the model in the target colors using a spray or airbrush. This product will only work with acrylic paints and lacquers and not with enamels. You can apply modulation and multiple coats but do not use masking tape. Let dry for at least 30 minutes, not more than a few hours.
Step 4: Wet the surface with clean water. Scrape the paint off using a rough bristle brush (recommended), toothpicks, or other similar tools. Work sensitively. When you are finished, we recommend that you apply a coat of clear varnish before the next weathering steps.
The bottle contains no less than 30 ml of medium.

Product FAQ
Why don’t you recommend this product if I don’t own an airbrush? Is there an option though?
The product activates and begins to dissolve when exposed to moisture. Then the coating loses its adhesion, so it can be scraped off together with the topcoat. Since you will be touching the medium with a wet brush, you will activate it right away, and you will be smearing the medium and paint on the model at the same time. There is one solution; use spray paints, such as Tamiya.

How can I pay?

You can pay with debit cards, and the Stripe service additionally finds the most popular banks in your country. You can pay by logging into them. You can also use the traditional transfer option, you will receive the transfer details by email, but the process will take longer until the transfer is posted. If you are not convinced about online payment, you can choose cash on delivery; you will hand over the deducted money to the courier (surcharge required).

I haven’t seen you in my stores, do you have any distributors?
We are a niche brand; we do not focus on mass sales. We have been in business since 2019. The products are entirely manufactured in Poland. At this moment, we are available in most stores in Poland through HOBBY2000 distribution and in the UK through Javis. We also have a distributor in Ireland, Portugal, and Greece.
What if I order an item and the package never arrives?
Shipments are insured, but we know how stressful it is to wait. Buying in our store, you have a guarantee that if the goods are lost in transit or arrive broken, we will give you your money back immediately, without waiting for a response from the shipping company. If the damage was not visible on the outside of the package, you just need to send us photos on the day of receipt. In our experience, however, lost packages account for approximately 0.1%, and damaged goods account for less than 0.5% of shipments. 99.4%, therefore, arrives without unpleasant incidents.
