A high-tech, no-compromise formula without the volume-enhancing fillers and emulsions of the typical vinyl paints known in our hobby. The paints have a thin film, so you can work with a wet-on-wet technique without flooding micro details, with a magnificent blending of pigments creating a spectrum of colors – just as it happens in nature. You will notice various shades and hues on every piece of wood, stone, or anything created by nature. No two planks are identical; no two rocks are similar. With Nature Acrylics, you will easily create their miniature counterparts, just as nature creates them.

Nature Acrylics are ready-made paints without dilution in 30 ml bottles with a pipette. They are extra efficient. They work perfectly in an airbrush straight from the bottle, not clogging it as quickly as paints known from the mainstream market; their uniquely fine pigment and lack of cheap acrylic-vinyl emulsion don’t tend to do that. However, an airbrush is usually unnecessary except for laying down a base.

How to paint Nature Acrylics

The idea behind Nature Acrylics kits is simple – they are supposed to be basic. There should be a minimum number of colors from which it is possible to compose a maximum number of shades.

Nature Paints Acrylics, by concept, is best for painting with wet-on-wet or semi-dry layer techniques, layering, or even dry brush methods. Their properties above, thin film and fine pigment, make it possible to lay down many layers because, after evaporation, almost the pigment remains, so we can build up the color slowly and intersperse layers in different places with different intensities. The wooden board can be darker in other areas, lighter in others, and fall more into brown there and gray here.

So here we have 3 base colors, which can be mixed among each other freely to get the wood shade of your choice or done by interlacing layers on the miniature. There are also their modifiers; in this case, black and a warm white that falls into gray. For the wood kit, a good practice would be to start with a “dark wood base,” gradually and selectively interlacing it with a “wood medium base” and “wood yellow base,” then adding a brightening “highlighting warm white” to the desired wood shade in the highlighted areas and along the grain. Then do a wash with a “dark wood base” darkened with “black.”

The packaging of a single paint is 30 ml with a pipette. The paints are sold without bulk packaging.
