This is a slightly different variation of our loose products. It contains a variety of gradations to create gravel and dirt roads. It is best suited for the 1:35, 1:24, and 1:16 scale.

Description
Take diorama creation to the highest level. Matte, made to scale, with a soft gray hue. Varying grain size from several microns to 1 millimeter, it works perfectly with pigments, taking on their color and allowing you to create any color palette and modulations directly on the treated surface. Dioramas have never been so natural, and the results are spectacular. “Modellers World” sands are designed for creative modelers who want to achieve realistic effects. The sand is easy to use, even for beginners, and its grain size is so fine that it will leave you amazed. The sand contains no impurities, so mixing it with pigments will give you wonderfully saturated colors. The 200 ml package will last for a long time.
Use depends on the creativity of the modeler. Here are some tips:
Dirt roads:
- Unlike ready-made paste, which creates a flat surface, dry gravel or sand allows you to get an authentic, loose, and grainy texture on the terrain; take advantage of this! The product comes in a primary gray gravel color, but you can add pigments from our range. You can find suggestions by expanding the list at the very bottom. Buying this one product, you can compose a road in any shade.
- Use our Solution – a medium for sands and pigments – to adhere to the sands and gravel. The best method is to give a layer of Solution to a base made of Modeling Clay or carved from a piece of XPS Styrofoam, which is best painted black or a similar shade to what you want. You can also mix the Solution with pigment as a base layer under the gravel. Sprinkle and form a gravel layer, then sprinkle the Solution where the “dry spots” are visible.
- You can use a strainer to separate the smaller fractions as a base and pile the stones more on the sides and in the middle of the road, as they naturally break down on the road, torn up by vehicles.
- You can mix with other Modellers World sands to get a variety of terrain.
- Once dry, you can modulate the ground with color by rubbing in pigments or painting and shading with Weathering Paints.

What is the difference between this product and sand that I can pick up in the garden? Does it make sense to overpay?
The difference is actually huge. First of all, the sand from the garden does not fit the scale at all. With the traditional 1:35, individual grains of sand will be the size of stones. But that’s not the only problem. Suppose you separate the smaller fractions using the finest sieves you can find. You get just the dirty dust. When mixed with pigment or paint, the color will be muted and ugly. Our product is sterile clean, and dirt free. The finest fractions are counted in microns. “Modellers World” sands are composed for the scale and a suggestion of which sand in which scale will be suitable is included on the cap. The package contains 200ml of sand. Remember that you will be increasing the volume of sand by adding pigments or glue, so it is enough for many models and dioramas. Also, the benefit is that you can prepare many small portions in different colors, so you do not need to buy many other pastes. Finally, dry sand has no expiration date. So relatively speaking it saves money and with so many benefits its price is not high.

How do I place an order in the store? Do I have to create an account?
Just add the products “to the cart,” click proceed. You will be redirected to the “checkout” form from the cart. You do not need to create an account or log in.
How can I pay?
We have PayPal and Stripe payment gateways in the store. These are the world’s famous and most secure services, offering various payment options. Payments are in the last step of the “checkout” form. You can pay with debit cards, and the Stripe service additionally finds the most popular banks in your country. You can pay by logging into them. You can also use the traditional transfer option, you will receive the transfer details by email, but the process will take longer until the transfer is posted. If you are not convinced about online payment, you can choose cash on delivery; you will hand over the deducted money to the courier (surcharge required).

I haven’t seen you in my stores, do you have any distributors?
We are a niche brand; we do not focus on mass sales. We have been in business since 2019. The products are entirely manufactured in Poland. At this moment, we are available in most stores in Poland through HOBBY2000 distribution and in the UK through Javis. We also have a distributor in Ireland, Portugal, and Greece.
What if I order an item and the package never arrives?
Shipments are insured, but we know how stressful it is to wait. Buying in our store, you have a guarantee that if the goods are lost in transit or arrive broken, we will give you your money back immediately, without waiting for a response from the shipping company. If the damage was not visible on the outside of the package, you just need to send us photos on the day of receipt. In our experience, however, lost packages account for approximately 0.1%, and damaged goods account for less than 0.5% of shipments. 99.4%, therefore, arrives without unpleasant incidents.
