Description
This product has a quite intense odor, masked by fragrance composition. Recommended to ventilate the room.
What should an ideal Wash be like? This thought accompanied us while designing this product. It should penetrate every detail in a blink of an eye and be easy to control. Gentle, so that the effect can be varied. Fragrant to make the work with it more pleasant. And to allow you to wipe off without a trace for a long time.
If you ever made your own washes based on the white spirit or similar, our product is way beyond that. The original formula of the thinner makes this product incredibly pleasant to work with. There is no problem with uncontrolled messing up your model, unlike enamel competitors. Our product is a stress-free Wash, and the effects are always intentional and not accidental.
The bottle contains a dropper designed to do a couple of things; firstly, if you drop open Wash, the content will not spill out. Secondly, every drop is the same, so you can make precisely the same mixtures from different Oil Wash colors if you want to make such.
Directions for use:
There is a stainless steel ball in the bottle, so shake before using until all the pigment from the bottom has dissolved. Modellers World Oil Wash is perfectly diluted, and you do not need to dilute it additionally. If necessary, the product can be applied in layers several minutes apart.
The product should be applied on acrylic paints. If you used lacquers or enamels, protect the model with a layer of acrylic varnish.
We do not recommend white spirit, only Modellers World Oils Thinner & Cleaner for wiping, washing, and modulating the effect.
Our washes are usable for many years and do not dry or thicken over time. However, the product is sensitive to changes in temperature; a little clumping of the pigment may occur during transport or prolonged storage. This is an entirely natural process and does not affect the suitability for use. The only thing you need to do is spread the pigment with a brush. You can see it in the video tab on this page.

General FAQ
How do I place an order in the store? Do I have to create an account?
Just add the products “to the cart,” click proceed. You will be redirected to the “checkout” form from the cart. You do not need to create an account or log in.
How can I pay?
We have PayPal and Stripe payment gateways in the store. These are the world’s famous and most secure services, offering various payment options. Payments are in the last step of the “checkout” form. You can pay with debit cards, and the Stripe service additionally finds the most popular banks in your country. You can pay by logging into them. You can also use the traditional transfer option, you will receive the transfer details by email, but the process will take longer until the transfer is posted. If you are not convinced about online payment, you can choose cash on delivery; you will hand over the deducted money to the courier (surcharge required).

I haven’t seen you in my stores, do you have any distributors?
We are a niche brand; we do not focus on mass sales. We have been in business since 2019. The products are entirely manufactured in Poland. At this moment, we are available in most stores in Poland through HOBBY2000 distribution and in the UK through Javis. We also have a distributor in Ireland, Portugal, and Greece.
What if I order an item and the package never arrives?
Shipments are insured, but we know how stressful it is to wait. Buying in our store, you have a guarantee that if the goods are lost in transit or arrive broken, we will give you your money back immediately, without waiting for a response from the shipping company. If the damage was not visible on the outside of the package, you just need to send us photos on the day of receipt. In our experience, however, lost packages account for approximately 0.1%, and damaged goods account for less than 0.5% of shipments. 99.4%, therefore, arrives without unpleasant incidents.
